As you probably could have guessed, like many men and women, I love a good spa day. Getting a facial or massage is when I feel at my most relaxed. But let’s be honest. How often can we justify paying spa prices? Wouldn’t it be so nice if we could bring the spa home? Sustainable, vegan beauty brand SPARITUAL should probably be in your repertoire by now. They make self-care “simple, effective and meaningful with spa-quality products formulated with the finest ingredients nature has to offer.”
When Shel Pink created the brand, she wanted to “open a dialogue about using healthier ingredients on our nails and body.” When SPARITUAL launched in 2004, it was the first vegan nail care brand on the market. Following that launch, they introduced body care range. Pink was inspired by her mother who taught her how to read ingredient labels at an early age. Combining self-care with healthy practices is at the very core of the brand.
Since starting it, Shel has loved spreading knowledge about self-care and helping people “add more rituals to their daily self-care practice.” Without further ado, take a peek below for some of Pink’s favorites from SPARITUAL as well as mine.
Body Salve
Made in three fantastic scents (Geranium Cedarwood, Earl Grey and Jasmine Tuberose), the Body Salve is formulated with ancient healing ingredients. What ancient ingredients, you may wonder? Carnauba Wax, Cocoa Butter and Jojoba Oil melts into skin to deeply hydrate and moisturize.
Hydrating Mist
Thank the skincare heavens for bringing Hydrating Mist to market. SPARITUAL’s Hydrating Mist includes ingredients like Aloe, Vanilla Extract and Apple Fruit Extract to hydrate while gently toning. And of course, it’s Vegan, cruelty-free and nature-derived, like all of SPARITUAL’s products.
Nourishing Vegan Color
At-home manis are made all the more beautiful with SPARITUAL’s Nourishing Vegan Color. As the name suggests, they are indeed vegan, cruelty-free and clean. The colors are formulated without 13 harmful chemicals that are often found in polish. They’re also 1-step, meaning no need for a base coat or top coat.
